2 Must Owns

I don’t consider myself a MAC snob but I will say they have 2 products that I think everyone should own!

First and foremost I want to say that I truly think one item worth splurging on is your powder,  you can make a drugstore foundation look flawless with good powder. But even if you use amazing and expensive foundation, you can kill it with a bad powder.  And powder is really a necessity if you are not airbrushing.  Yes setting sprays help, but nothing locks in in like layering foundation, powder, and setting spray! So for my first Must Own: MAC Mineralize Loose Foundation.

I have this product because (you ready for this?): A coworker purchased it as a substitute for a different MAC loose powder and was given the wrong color (I think it was in the wrong box), when she went back to exchange it for the correct color she returned home only to find out that she had been give the color again!  So she gave up and gave it to another coworker thinking that the color would better suite her skin, this coworker wore it and the color was to light for her and she also said it didn’t feel right on her skin (sucks to be her), so I ended up with it since I am the office makeup hoarder.  So I used it on the occasions I didn’t airbrush and every time I wore it I would receive tons of compliments, at first I didn’t put two and two together, but then I realized it was this powder.  I have spoken to several other who have discover the same thing when they wear this powder; it is just amazing.  I love full coverage, so if you don’t you might not want to use this since it is considered  a medium building foundation, and I’m using it on top my already medium-full liquid foundation. Yes I know.  But it gives the most flawless angelic look to your skin.  I wore it today to even out my Temptu (I’m fighting several breakouts), and I kept catching myself in the mirror and was like Oh Yeah I remember why I LOVE THIS SO MUCH!!!

This powder retails for $31 for 7.5 grams at MAC and it is so worth it; available in 9 shades, I own Light & Medium to cover me all year around. They describe it as: A silky, mineral-rich powder foundation that brushes on to deliver medium build-able coverage with a radiant look. Gives skin a smooth, natural dimensional finish with exceptional luminosity and a silky comfortable feel.

Second must have that relates right in: MAC Fix +; a must have to go over any powder!

Many people mistake this as a setting spray, it is not, it’s not intend to be.  The website says: An aqua-spritz of vitamin and minerals, infused with a calm-the-skin blend of green tea, chamomile, cucumber, topped off with the fresh, natural, energizing scent of Sugi. Adds radiance, finishes makeup. Spray it on. Skin drinks it up! 100 ml / 3.4 US fl oz US$21.00

This is perfect for taking the powdered look off of you face after you set.  It has a million other uses that I can not name all of including using to foil on pigment.  I really think everyone should own this product.  I will soon be purchasing a travel size just to make sure I always have it on me.

New website is up check it out: www.belvadear.com  ; please bear with me as I receive the images from the photographers I will be adding them
